a good prayer

Ya Allah...
please give me the wisdom to know what to do
the skill how to do it
the virtue to actually do it
amin...

(a prayer from a friend of mine who I'm sure won't mind sharing)

Someone important

People die every day. They may be our close friends, families, beloved ones and someday our very own selves.

I lived with my parents for almost 20 years. Being with them had been life as usual. I woke up seeing their faces and went to bed seeing the same faces.

I love them.. and feel it every day. But feeling and doing the same thing every day could be tricky because you may not realize how much you needed them.

Mahatma Gandhi once said “You don't know who is important to you until you actually lose them”

Alhamdulillah, my parents are in good health now. But someday, they will die like I will too. We just don’t know who goes first. In case of me going first, that shouldn’t be a problem. But If they die before me, I don’t want to regret how I haven’t been caring enough for them.

Now I have the greatest wife in the world. I won’t wait to show her how important she has always been to me…

Success and Happiness

"Success is getting what you want, happiness is wanting what you get"

That quote by Dale Carnegie means very much to me.

Work like a horse day and night and finally you will have your own car. Congratulations, you finally have it … and then what?

Cry like a baby and make someone do what you want them to. Well done, they finally do what you want… and then what?

Wanting what you get is not as easy as it seems, because you don’t always need what you want. In fact, most of the time you don’t need what you want at all !

For me, wanting a house is easy. The problem is, I just haven’t got it yet :)

Have a great day everyone!
